Picris kotschyi adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan semusim dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Mediterania timur hingga Iraq utara. Nama ilmiah Picris kotschyi diperkenalkan oleh Pierre Edmond Boissier pada tahun 1875.
