Picris scabra subsp. abyssinica merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari wilayah sepanjang Eritrea hingga Ethiopia. Nama ilmiah Picris scabra subsp. abyssinica pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Heinrich "Bipontinus" Schultz pada tahun 2000.
