Pilea rugosa adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Urticaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Hispaniola. Nama ilmiah Pilea rugosa diperkenalkan oleh Olof Peter Swartz pada tahun 1852.
