Pilocarpus grandiflorus merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Rutaceae (suku jeruk-jerukan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Brazil timur. Nama ilmiah Pilocarpus grandiflorus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Heinrich Gustav Adolf Engler pada tahun 1874.
