Pilocarpus microphyllus merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Rutaceae (suku jeruk-jerukan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Brazil utara dan timur laut. Nama ilmiah Pilocarpus microphyllus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Otto Stapf pada tahun 1893.
