Pilosella aletschensis merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Eropa tengah. Nama ilmiah Pilosella aletschensis diperkenalkan oleh Karl Hermann Zahn pada tahun 1982.
