Pimelea acra merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Thymelaeaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Pulau North Selandia Baru. Nama ilmiah Pimelea acra diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Colin James Burrows pada tahun 2009.
