Pimpinella huillensis merupakan tumbuhan dwimusim atau menahun dari famili Apiaceae (suku adas-adasan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Tanzania barat dan selatan hingga kawasan tropis Afrika bagian selatan. Nama ilmiah Pimpinella huillensis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Friedrich Welwitsch pada tahun 1892.
