Pinguicula lutea merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Lentibulariaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Amerika Serikat bagian tenggara. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan yellow butterwort. Nama ilmiah Pinguicula lutea diperkenalkan oleh Thomas Walter pada tahun 1788.
