Pinus ayacahuite adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Pinaceae (suku pinus-pinusan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Meksiko hingga Honduras. Nama ilmiah Pinus ayacahuite pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Christian Gottfried Ehrenberg pada tahun 1838.
