Pinus ponderosa var. scopulorum adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Pinaceae (suku pinus-pinusan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Amerika Serikat bagian barat dan barat-tengah hingga Meksiko utara. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan ponderosa pine. Nama ilmiah Pinus ponderosa var. scopulorum diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Georg Engelmann pada tahun 1880.
