Pinus taeda adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Pinaceae (suku pinus-pinusan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Amerika Serikat bagian tengah dan tenggara. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan loblolly pine. Nama ilmiah Pinus taeda pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carolus Linnaeus dalam Species Plantarum tahun 1753.
