Piper anisum adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Piperaceae (suku sirih-sirihan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Brazil tengah dan timur. Nama ilmiah Piper anisum pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Curt Polycarp Joachim Sprengel pada tahun 1978.
