Piper blattarum adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Piperaceae (suku sirih-sirihan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Puerto Rico hingga St. Thomas. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan moth pepper. Nama ilmiah Piper blattarum pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Curt Polycarp Joachim Sprengel pada tahun 1821.
