Piptanthus nepalensis adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Himalaya hingga China bagian tengah dan Myanmar utara. Nama ilmiah Piptanthus nepalensis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis William Jackson Hooker pada tahun 1828.
