Piptatherum munroi adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Iran hingga China bagian tengah dan Himalaya. Nama ilmiah Piptatherum munroi pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Otto Stapf pada tahun 1921.
