Piptospatha insignis adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Araceae (suku talas-talasan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Kalimantan (Sarawak utara). Nama ilmiah Piptospatha insignis diperkenalkan oleh Nicholas Edward Brown pada tahun 1879.
