Piriqueta viscosa adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Passifloraceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di kawasan tropis Amerika. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan purple stripeseed. Nama ilmiah Piriqueta viscosa pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis August Heinrich Rudolf Grisebach pada tahun 1866.
