Piscidia mollis merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma gurun pasir atau sabana kering di wilayah Meksiko utara. Nama ilmiah Piscidia mollis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Joseph Nelson Rose pada tahun 1891.
