Pistacia chinensis merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Anacardiaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Transkaukasia, Afghanistan, China, hingga Filipina (Luzon). Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan chinese pistache. Nama ilmiah Pistacia chinensis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Alexander Andrejewitsch von Bunge pada tahun 1835.
