Pistacia terebinthus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Anacardiaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Mediterania hingga Jazirah Arab. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan cyprus turpentine. Nama ilmiah Pistacia terebinthus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carolus Linnaeus dalam Species Plantarum tahun 1753.
