Pithecellobium histrix (A.Rich.) Benth.

Pithecellobium histrix merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Bahama, Kuba, Rep. Dominika. Nama ilmiah Pithecellobium histrix pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Achille Richard pada tahun 1873.
