Pithecellobiumhymenaeifolium (Humb. & Bonpl. ex Willd.) Benth.
Pithecellobium hymenaeifolium merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Meksiko selatan hingga Venezuela. Nama ilmiah Pithecellobium hymenaeifolium diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Alexander von Humboldt pada tahun 1844.
