Pityopsis microcephala adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Amerika Serikat bagian tenggara. Nama ilmiah Pityopsis microcephala pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis John Kunkel Small pada tahun 1933.
