Placodiscus resendeanus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Sapindaceae (suku lerak-lerakan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di kawasan tropis Afrika bagian barat-tengah. Nama ilmiah Placodiscus resendeanus diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Arthur Wallis Exell pada tahun 1952.
