Plagiobothrys congestus merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Boraginaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma pegunungan tropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Peru hingga Argentina barat laut. Nama ilmiah Plagiobothrys congestus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Hugh Algernon Weddell pada tahun 1923.
