Plagiobothrys distantiflorus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan semusim dari famili Boraginaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah California tengah. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan california popcornflower. Nama ilmiah Plagiobothrys distantiflorus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Charles Vancouver Piper pada tahun 1932.
