Plagiobothrys scouleri var. hispidulus merupakan tumbuhan semusim dari famili Boraginaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Kanada hingga Amerika Serikat bagian utara dan barat. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan sleeping popcornflower. Nama ilmiah Plagiobothrys scouleri var. hispidulus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Edward Lee Greene pada tahun 1988.
