Plagiobothrys trachycarpus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan semusim dari famili Boraginaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah California barat daya dan barat-tengah. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan roughfruit popcornflower. Nama ilmiah Plagiobothrys trachycarpus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Asa Gray pada tahun 1923.
