Plagius maghrebinus merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Afrika barat laut. Nama ilmiah Plagius maghrebinus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Robert M. Vogt pada tahun 2003.
