Plantago amplexicaulis subsp. bauphula adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan semusim dari famili Plantaginaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Spanyol, Afrika utara, hingga India barat laut. Nama ilmiah Plantago amplexicaulis subsp. bauphula pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Michael Pakenham Edgeworth pada tahun 1965.
