Plantago erecta adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan semusim dari famili Plantaginaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Oregon hingga Meksiko (Baja California). Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan dotseed plantain. Nama ilmiah Plantago erecta diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Edward Lyman Morris pada tahun 1900.
