Platanthera psycodes adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Orchidaceae (suku anggrek-anggrekan). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk bonggol berbentuk umbi. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Kanada bagian timur hingga Amerika Serikat timur dan timur-tengah laut. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan lesser purple fringed orchid. Nama ilmiah Platanthera psycodes pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis John Lindley pada tahun 1835.
