Platanthera stricta merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Orchidaceae (suku anggrek-anggrekan). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk bonggol berbentuk umbi. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Kepulauan Aleut hingga Amerika Serikat bagian barat. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan slender bog orchid. Nama ilmiah Platanthera stricta pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis John Lindley pada tahun 1835.
