Platanus racemosa merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Platanaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari California hingga Meksiko (Baja California Norte). Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan california sycamore. Nama ilmiah Platanus racemosa pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Thomas Nuttall pada tahun 1842.
