Platycarya strobilacea adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Juglandaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari China tengah dan selatan, Vietnam, Korea, hingga Jepang tengah dan selatan. Nama ilmiah Platycarya strobilacea pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Philipp Franz von Siebold pada tahun 1843.
