Platymiscium calyptratum adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Meksiko (Hidalgo, Veracruz). Nama ilmiah Platymiscium calyptratum pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Mario Sousa pada tahun 2005.
