Platysace compressa merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Apiaceae (suku adas-adasan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Australia Barat bagian barat daya dan selatan-barat-daya. Nama ilmiah Platysace compressa pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Jacques Labillardière pada tahun 1939.
