Platysace maxwellii merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Apiaceae (suku adas-adasan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Australia barat daya. Nama ilmiah Platysace maxwellii pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Ferdinand von Mueller pada tahun 1939.
