Pleiotaxis newtonii adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari wilayah sepanjang Rep. Kongo hingga Angola. Nama ilmiah Pleiotaxis newtonii pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Karl August Otto Hoffmann pada tahun 1893.
