Pleopeltis angusta merupakan tumbuhan epifit dari famili Polypodiaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari wilayah sepanjang Meksiko hingga Nikaragua. Nama ilmiah Pleopeltis angusta diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Alexander von Humboldt pada tahun 1810.
