Pleopeltis desvauxii merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Polypodiaceae. Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan tumbuh menempel di pohon lain (epifit) atau di bebatuan (litofit). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari St. Vincent hingga kawasan tropis Amerika selatan. Nama ilmiah Pleopeltis desvauxii diperkenalkan oleh Johann Friedrich Klotzsch pada tahun 2009.
