Pleopeltis furfuracea merupakan tumbuhan epifit dari famili Polypodiaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari wilayah sepanjang Meksiko hingga Amerika tengah. Nama ilmiah Pleopeltis furfuracea diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Diederich Franz Leonhard von Schlechtendal pada tahun 2014.
