Pleopeltis polylepis var. erythrolepis merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Polypodiaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari wilayah sepanjang Texas barat hingga Meksiko utara. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan redscale scaly polypody. Nama ilmiah Pleopeltis polylepis var. erythrolepis diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Charles Alfred Weatherby pada tahun 1980.
