Pleopeltis pycnocarpa merupakan tumbuhan epifit dari famili Polypodiaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari wilayah sepanjang Himalaya tengah, Qinghai selatan, hingga China (Sichuan barat dan Yunnan barat). Nama ilmiah Pleopeltis pycnocarpa pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Christensen pada tahun 2005.
