Pleopeltis pyrrholepis merupakan tumbuhan epifit dari famili Polypodiaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Meksiko (Veracruz, Oaxaca, Chiapas). Nama ilmiah Pleopeltis pyrrholepis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Antoine Laurent Apollinaire Fée pada tahun 2014.
