Pleopeltis steirolepis merupakan tumbuhan epifit dari famili Polypodiaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari wilayah sepanjang Kolombia, Venezuela, Ekuador, hingga Galápagos. Nama ilmiah Pleopeltis steirolepis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Christensen pada tahun 2014.
