Pleuranthodium branderhorstii merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Zingiberaceae (suku temu-temuan). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk rimpang atau stolon. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Papua. Nama ilmiah Pleuranthodium branderhorstii pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Theodoric Valeton pada tahun 1991.
