Pleuranthodium piundaundense merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Zingiberaceae (suku temu-temuan). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk rimpang atau stolon. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Papua New Guinea. Nama ilmiah Pleuranthodium piundaundense pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Pieter van Royen pada tahun 1991.
