Pleurophora pungens adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Lythraceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Chili utara dan tengah. Nama ilmiah Pleurophora pungens pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis David Don pada tahun 1831.
